The cucumber, mint and lemons make the water taste so refreshing and bright!
And the strawberries just add a tiny touch of natural sweetness.
If you wanted even stronger flavor, you could also muddle the mix-ins (mush them up) before pouring in your water.
If you do that, I recommend straining the infused water before drinking—unless you like to chew chunks of cucumber and pick out lemons seeds from your water.
Cucumbers are a good source of B vitamins. Cucumber are known to contain lariciresinol, pinoresinol, and secoisolariciresinol. These three lignans have a strong history of research in connection with reduced risk of several cancer types.
Cucumber juice contains a lot of potassium, magnesium and fiber that work effectively for regulating blood pressure. This makes cucumber good for treating both low blood pressure and high blood pressure.
To avoid a morning hangover or headache; eat a few cucumber slices before going to bed. Cucumbers contain enough sugar, B vitamins and electrolytes to replenish many essential nutrients, reducing the intensity of both hangover and headache.
Put down your sodas and coffee and eat a cucumber slice.
Lemons are rich in vitamin Cand flavonoids that work against infections like the flu and colds. Vitamin C in lemons helps to neutralize free radicals linked to aging and most types of disease.
Lemons have powerful antibacterial properties; experiments have found the juice of lemons destroy the bacteria of malaria, cholera, diphtheria, typhoid and other deadly diseases. The citric acid in lemon juice helps to dissolve gallstones, calcium deposits, and kidney stones.
The lemon is a wonderful stimulant to the liver and is a dissolvent of uric acid and other poisons, liquefies the bile. Fresh lemon juice added to a large glass of water in the morning is a great liver detoxifier.
Since they are filled with fiber, strawberries maintain regularity and clarify the intestines. Anthocyanins, the red-hued antioxidant in strawberries, cause stored fat to be burned much quicker than compared to ingesting foods without it.
Strawberries have a surplus of Vitamin C (about 113% of recommended daily intake) which is more than enough of that your body needs to reap the benefits. When consuming vitamin C during stressful situations, it actually has the ability to decrease blood pressure to a normal level, preventing the development of hypertension.
Increase Brain Function: Free radicals are to blame when it comes to signs of aging and many other problems within the human body. They specifically cause brain tissue to decline and neurotransmitters to become much weaker. Iodine, which is another nutrient strawberry is abundant in, maintains proper nervous system and brain function.
Sooths the digestive tract and if you are having stomach ache then it can be of great help. Mint helps in eliminating toxins from the body. Mint can help relax your mind.
