Simply and Easy Orzo Pasta Enriched with Excellent Taste of Pork

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 celery stalk chopped
  • 1 medium carrot chopped
  • 1 cup dried orzo
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup thinly sliced asparagus, tough ends removed
  • 1 tbsp fresh Parsley chopped
  • fresh parmesan cheese for serving
  • sea salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • freshly shredded dill
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ginger powder

Pork tenderloin with orzo pasta

Step 1: Cut the pork tenderloin into 1' chunks. Season with sea salt, pepper, dill, garlic powder, ginger powder and let sit in the fridge overnight to melt and absorb all the flavors within the pork.

Step 2: Bring a large pot to heat over medium-high. Coat generously with cooking spray and add the pork. Allow to rest till golden on one side and also the meat releases easily from the bottom of the pot. Toss the pork and cook on all sides, till pork is no longer pink or till golden. take away from the pan and keep heat.

Step 3: Spritz the pan with cooking spray all over again and add the shredded onion, celery, and carrot and cook 3minutes till the onion and carrot are soft and also the onion turns translucent.

Step 4: Once the onion turns translucent, add a splash of the broth. Stir with a wooden spoon, scraping the bottom of the pan to loosen up anything stuck to the frying pan.

Step 5: Add the remaining broth and also the orzo. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a low simmer and cook for 7minutes or till all of the liquid is absorbed, stirring often.

Step 6: Take away the lid and stir within the asparagus. Continue to preparation till the orzo pasta is al dente and also the asparagus is bright green, regarding another minute or 2.

Step 7: Take away from heat and stir within the toasted pork. This orzo pasta garnishes with parsley and serve with grated parmesan cheese.
